The directory and community forum is an open public space. Although we put a strong emphasis on spirituality we cannot guarantee high spiritual standard of all the practices and services on the site. This is left to your personal needs, judgement, knowledge and wisdom. Please browse through our terms and conditions so that you can enjoy this space with full confidence and joy! LISTINGS

All listings have been accepted trusting good will of the users. However, we do recommend that you verify your chosen practitioner is fully qualified in the therapies, practices, workshops and other events that you intent to partake.

SpiritualLondon does not have specific inclinations for any specific faith, belief, spiritual practice, therapist, course or event but we might from time to time recommend an individual service, practice, event based solely on our objective opinion.

Listings and featured listings may not be written in CAPS, contain symbols that indicate spamming (e.g. $$$$$$ or ‰‰‰‰‰) or express homophobic or otherwise offensive messages. Let’s keep it a clean and fair space for everyone to use!

CLASSIFIEDS

All products/services/skills sold, offered or exchanged in the Classifieds section are the responsibility of the SpiritualLondon user who is posting the advert. SpiritualLondon, although aiming to moderate the board, is not responsible for these. If you are purchasing/exchanging or renting items via the Classifieds we recommend you check the authenticity of the items and the seller.

FORUM

Guidelines:

When posting a new topic, please select the forum that best relates to the subject matter of your topic. Redundant topics are not allowed and are considered spam. Our members represent a wide variety of religious and spiritual people. When joining in discussions on our forums expect to come across persons whose ideas, opinions and beliefs may be different from yours. Please approach such encounters with tolerance and an acceptance of others faiths and beliefs.

Posting Guidelines:

When posting a new topic do not use the CAPS lock. It is hard to read and is considered yelling. When replying in an existing topic it is fine to use CAPS or bold to highlight main points. Try not to use large font sizes and many colours as this can be a strain on the eye sometimes and also makes the forums look untidy.

Please do not include your own, or others email/postal addresses, or phone numbers in posts and visitor messages. This is to prevent them being misused by spammers etc.

Language:

Any foul or hostile language used will not be tolerated. This includes any derogatory statements and profanity. Direct or indirect personal attacks are strictly not permitted. Insults and negative attitudes are not allowed. Saying you don't agree & why, can be done in a good humoured and respectful way without causing offence. All members have the right to their own ideas, beliefs and faiths. Members have the right to express these with equal respect and consideration.

Impersonation:

You agree not to impersonate SpiritualLondon’s members or moderators. Not to create more than one username with the intent to disrupt discussions or deceive members.

Copyright:

Copyright infringement is illegal. Never post an article in its entirety. When posting copyrighted material, please use small sections or link to the article. When posting copyrighted material please give credit to the author in your post.

Advertising:

Advertising and promotion of products & services is not permitted in the SpiritualLondon forums. Please use the listings or Classifieds board instead, it is easy! If you do post any advertisements you are likely to be put onto moderation, this means that any future posts you make will need to be cleared by a moderator first before it appears on the forums.

Any statement which makes an offer in return for financial gain (including within the signature) will be treated as advertising and therefore will be moderated.

Posting of website links within the text body is permitted if relevant to the topic, links to your own website are acceptable in your signature. Please note: only two weblinks are permitted within the signature and signatures should be no more than 4 lines in total. Anymore than two links, four signature lines will result in Moderation.

Conduct of Others:

SpiritualLondon can not monitor all postings made by its members and must rely on the good will of the members to abide by the rules of their conduct. Should you have an issue with postings which you feel are derogatory to yourself, are defamatory or offensive, then please contact the forum moderator or SpiritualLondon administration, when the topic can be locked.

Disruptive behaviour:

You must not disrupt or interfere with discussions, forums, or other community functions. Disruptive behaviour may include creating a disproportionate number of posts or discussions; creating off-topic posts; making statements that are inflammatory; manipulating topics to disrupt conversation; or any behaviour that interferes with conversations or inhibits the ability of others to use and enjoy this space for its intended purposes. We also have the right to suspend or terminate your right to use the SpiritualLondon facilities in the future. The decision of the Moderating Team is final.

Petitions, Charities, Sponsorship or Campaigns:

Petitions, Charities, Sponsorship or Campaign posts are not allowed on the forums. You are free to post your concern on any topics or events, generate healthy discussions and come up with (peaceful!) community actions. Use a PM (personal message) function if asked to forward a petition!

Spam:

No repeat posts with the same text should be posted in different forums.
